Talisman (boardgame)

I’m usually not a big fan of fantasy boardgames. However, the other day I played this one called Talisman with a group of friends.

It’s a really cool board game that’s been around since the ‘80s, with simple rules, easy to play and lots of fun, but requires strategy as well.

You’re on this epic quest to claim the Crown of Command (the center of the board game). You play as one of many different characters, like a wizard, warrior, thief, prophet, etc… each with their own special abilities.

The board is divided into three regions and you move through them, facing various challenges, monsters, and traps along the way. You can also interact with other players, which adds a layer of competition and cooperation.

No need to roleplay, which is a big plus for me 😅

What I liked the most was how straightforward and engaging it was. Also, each turn was pretty quick to complete. However, the game can take several hours to complete (we couldn’t finish the game after ~3 hours)

Looking forward to play this again.
