A trip to Volcán Poás

The last time I visited this National Park was maybe ~10 years ago.

And I certainly cannot remember the last time I saw the crater (one of the largest in the world btw), because it is always foggy.

So last Sunday, we were very lucky: after a downpour, the clouds cleared, and we were able to see the crater and even the fields beyond. I’m pretty sure you could even see the ocean in the background.

The temperature was 13°C (56°F), but with the water and wind, it definitely felt colder. Still, we had a great time. Here are some pics:
