Unfortunately, Halloween is not a very popular date in Latin America, and while Mexico has its Día de Muertos, there’s nothing similar in Costa Rica.
Luckily for us, local shopping centers have been promoting this idea of visiting the stores with your costumes, and they will give sweets to the kids. I know. it’s kinda lame, but we actually had a lot of fun.
Today the kids were a Little Mermaid, Harry Potter and the Flash. They got quite some candies!
