Visit to Zarcero and San Ramón

Last Sunday we went to two parks in the western area of the Central Valley: Zarcero and San Ramón. We went with my mom, my mother-in-law, and my aunt.

Last year around this time we had made a similar trip to Sarchí and Zarcero, but this year we wanted to visit San Ramón park because it won the award for best decorated park for Christmas.

However, the views from Zarcero are unbeatable.

On the way we had lunch at a restaurant called Rancho Amalia—good prices, delicious food, and incredible views. You could even see the Gulf of Nicoya, 77kms away (approximately 48mi).

After lunch, we visited Zarcero park, where there was a Christmas market and live piano music performed by local kids. Finally, we drove to the neighboring town of San Ramón (~30 min by car) to see the illuminated park. Everything was beautiful! Below are some photos from the outing.
