First lemon harvest

Around 4 years ago, I planted a lemon seed from a lemon that lives in my parents-in-law’s front yard. It’s been interesting to watch it grow all these years.

Early this year, a few flowers came out for the first time, along with 4 or 5 lemons: it was good to know the tree would be productive.

A few weeks ago, however, the production went beyond all my expectations, and now the lemons are starting to turn yellow:

My parent-in-law, don Max, passed away ~2 months ago, and I’m extremely grateful to have this tree living in our backyard. It will always remind me of him and his lemonade.
